WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WJAR) — A Rhode Island woman is hoping to find the owner of a locket that she and her friends found on the floor of a Taco Bell.
“We thought nothing of it and once he opened it we were like, ‘Oh, my gosh. There’s somebody’s family in here,’” Averi Pucillo told NBC 10 News Tuesday.
The locket is about the size of a quarter, with the Fleur De Lis engraved on the front and the letters, “EJC” on the back.
Inside, there are two antique photos of a man and a woman.
“Once I saw there was family in there I said, ‘Oh, this is special to someone. This is a memento.’ This may have been passed down from someone, so it needs to go to the rightful owner,” Pucillo said.
Averi posted photos of the locket on social media, but has not had any luck yet.
“This has to mean something to somebody,” she said. “The holidays are coming up so might as well bring someone joy.”
