PROVIDENCE -- The Rhode Island Department of Transportation is letting Rhode Islanders know about the ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
When Spring arrives, there will be 100 jobs, including the 6/10 project.
RIDOT will be working on every main road and highway in the state, including 295, 95, and 195. They will also be working in Routes 37, 146, and 6.
Some other work will include the Carolina Bridges in Charlestown/Richmond, where guardrail and bridge railing installation continues.
The I-295 corridor in Cumberland is having the deteriorating catch basins repaired and the Pound Hill Road Bridge in North Smithfield is getting updates on the bridge deck, form, and concrete.
The Providence River Pedestrian Bridge is getting new lighting, railing and decking on the lower level, and the work continues on the Victory Highway Bridge in West Greenwich, which is getting concrete at the pier caps and guardrails.
