Suspects sought in Lincoln home invasion surrender
Lincoln police said Monday that two people wanted in a home invasion turned themselves in.
Police said 26-year-old Philip Child and 26-year-old Hailey Melendez surrendered Friday night. They were awaiting arraignment in Kent County District Court.
Child and Melendez were wanted on charges of first-degree robbery, burglary and conspiracy in a home invasion on Dec. 9.
Police said three people barged into a house on Columbia Avenue, knocked an 81-year-old man to the ground and stole some money.
The victim's grandson, Jordan Palardy, was arrested last week.
Police said Child, Melendez and Palardy went to the Tiverton Casino Hotel after the home invasion.
