The playground of a Providence school was closed Thursday because of a swarm of honeybees.

The swam took up residence in a tree on Eddy Street outside the Alan Shawn Feinstein Elementary School at Broad Street.

Beekeepers were called in to remove them, but before they could do anything the bees flew away.

Swarms of honeybees have a tendency to move around.
