Traffic cam shows truck crashing in Boston tunnel
A truck crashed inside Boston's O'Neill Tunnel at the beginning of the Thursday morning commute.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 93 at about 5:30 a.m.
A traffic cam recorded the truck's load hitting the ceiling of the tunnel. Cars behind the truck swerved to avoid the wreck.
Traffic at one point was backed up at least 15 miles behind the scene while the truck was cleared.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said all lanes were open as of 8:25 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
