A voting machine on Prudence Island was replaced Tuesday morning after it experienced a technical issue, according to the Rhode Island Board of Elections.
"Voting Machine on Prudence Island experienced a technical difficulty this morning," tweeted the Board of Elections.
They said a replacement unit was sent to be quickly installed.
"A replacement unit is on the ferry and will be installed shortly. Ballots are secured and voting is continuing uninterrupted," the Board of Elections said on Twitter.
The machine was successfully replaced.
