A Kent County judge on Friday ordered held without bail a woman accused of driving drunk with children in the car -- twice in two weeks.

Authorities said Leah Beatriz Duran, 41, of Woonsocket, tried to evade officers and struck a baby stroller at Oakland Beach in Warwick on Thursday. They said she had three children -- ages 7 months, 5 years and 7 years -- in the car.

Duran was arrested July 11 in a similar incident at Lincoln Woods. Duran allegedly had her kids and two of her friend's children in the car.

In that case, she admitted to taking three shots at the beach. Police said her blood-alcohol level was three times the legal limit.

The state Department of Children, Youth and Families took custody of Duran's children.

Duran's next court appearance was scheduled for July 31.
