New Bedford police charged a woman who they said hit three people, a parked car, then jumped a curb and struck a building.

On Monday police confirmed that indeed three people were struck, after the initial report said none were hit.

Sharon Lee Fernandes, 65, is accused of OUI after the damage she caused in the area of Acushnet Avenue and Perry Street Sunday afternoon.

One victim was transported to St. Luke's Hospital with minor injuries, say police while the other two did not require medical treatment.

After striking the parked car police said Fernandes headed toward a religious procession before striking the building.

Police said Fernandes was charged with OUI drugs, failure to stop for police, failure to use care in passing and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
