A cat that was apparently stuck in a tree in Johnston for five days was back on the ground Monday.

A woman notified NBC 10 News about the cat, saying that no one from public safety would help get it down from a tree on Rachela Street.

NBC 10 News put out the call, and Michael Kelley and Stephen Debankah from North-Eastern Tree Service responded with a bucket truck to get the cat.

The cat appeared to be OK.
