Woonsocket’s Emily Luther returns to RI for hometown performance
Woonsocket's own Emily Luther is back home following her performance on NBC's "The Voice."
While 24-year-old was eliminated in this week’s playoff round, Luther stopped by the Polar Express opening ceremony Friday night and performed for fans. People were lining up to take photos with her and enjoy the ride.
She said she loves to come to the Polar Express, adding that it’s something she loves to do with her grandmother.
Luther also has a few performances planned in Rhode Island for the holiday season, as well as plans for her singing career.
"I have a couple of irons in the fire,” Luther said, being coy. “It wouldn't be fun if I told you! So, you have to just wait and see. It's all good stuff and I'm grateful."
You can stop by the Polar Express now through Christmas. Who knows -- you might run into Luther!
