Man in motorhome arrested near Fresno, California's City Hall for making threats
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) — A man in a motorhome parked near the Fresno City Hall was making threats and would not come out, police say.
They say a woman told them the man handed her a note saying he had a propane tank inside and was going to blow up the motorhome.
Fresno police blocked the streets off in the area of R Street and Mariposa Streets.
The man was very agitated, saying his wife has cancer and is in Community Regional Medical Center.
Police eventually got them man to calm down and were able to get him to surrender.
The man was checked out by EMS and taken into custody.
