Ethics Commission extends investigation into Corrigan
Rhode Island's Ethics Commission has extended its investigation into whether East Greenwich's town manager violated disclosure and ethics laws.
The Providence Journal reported that the investigation into a hiring by Gayle Corrigan has been extended for another 60 days.
Corrigan is under scrutiny for hiring business associate Linda Dykeman as the town's finance director. Dykeman worked for Providence Analytics.
Corrigan is also under investigation for not stating her position as manager of the Central Coventry Fire District.
