3 tornadoes from Tuesday's storm in New York
Tuesday's thunderstorms brought 3 confirmed tornadoes to eastern New York.
The National Weather Service confirmed Wednesday evening:
The storms did not last long and caused sporadic damage but they were intense.
Varying from the weakest tornado level, EFO with a peak wind of 85mph.
An EF1 storm with 100mph wind and even an EF2 storm, with wind speeds near 110mph!
Several other storms ripped across eastern New York and western Connecticut with numerous reports of straight line wind damage.
