Snow could impact Friday evening commute

Another round of light snow accumulation likely Friday night

Another round of snow is likely for the area Friday and the arrival time has moved up a bit. It looks like snow will develop from south to north after 3 p.m. Friday and that means this could have an impact on the Friday afternoon commute:

If you have plans to be on the roads Friday evening, plan on a slower than usual ride with slick roads likely.

This will be a similar type of system to what came through Thursday morning. Both in terms of snow accumulation as well as where the temperatures will be. So that means another round of light, fluffy snow for most of us.

So once again this is not likely going to be a big snow producer for us but the timing will not be great. Travel will be impacted and unfortunately more slipping and sliding is likely on area roads.

Be sure to check back on the forecast through the day as these systems can change right up to the last minute. We will have you covered!

Thanks for reading, Mark!
