Flood Watch for Friday into part of the weekend

A Flood Watch is in effect for the whole area for local street flooding along with potential rising river levels early this weekend

Here we go again -- MORE rain is heading our way!

After a bit of a sunny start Friday morning:

The clouds will increase through the afternoon BUT the rain should hold off until later in the evening.

Right now, the heaviest rain and possible thunderstorms will roll through overnight into very early Saturday morning.

By all accounts, the rain will end well before sunrise Saturday but the clouds may linger early on before sunshine increases throughout the day.

Rain totals of 1-2" potentially have prompted a Flood Watch to be issued for the entire area.

This is due to the possibility of some local street flooding -- remember all those leaves are clogging some of our storm drains right now!

There is also the possibility that a few of our local rivers and streams may begin to rise near flood levels during the day Saturday.

With the rain long over by sunrise Saturday, we will have a dry weekend. Although, the wind will be gusty Saturday afternoon ahead of some chilly air sweeping in for Sunday.

The 10-Day Forecast shows yet another storm form next week. This one is slated for Tuesday, with more rain and possible flooding concerns.

We'll stay on top of the forecast for you!
