Quick taste of winter this weekend

This snow will be heavier and wetter than usual since temperatures will be in the lower 30s while it's falling

We are waiting for the snow this weekend! Although we will see mostly sunny skies this weekend, there will be a 12 hour window of time where we have the potential of very heavy snow. This window of time is from 7pm tonight through 7am Sunday. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for this window of time as well. Clouds build in through the day and snow is expected to develop after 7:00 Saturday night. It could become heavy at times overnight and is expected to wind down and end very Sunday morning. The peak of the heavy snowfall is between 10pm Saturday and 5am Sunday. Sunday morning is expected to quickly clear to sunny on the back of this system. plan for up to 3-6” of snow by Sunday morning. Visibility will drop during the peak overnight and there is the possibility of isolated power outages.

Tonight: Snow, heavy at times. Low: 29.

Sunday: Early snow ending early then clearing to sun. High: 45.

Monday: Partly sunny with a chance of showers. High: 50.

Wednesday: Partly sunny. High: 66.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy and colder. High: 50.
