Storm Team 10: Friday and Saturday snow update

Two rounds of snow heading our way.

The first arrives early Friday, with the bulk of the storm JUST missing the majority of area.

Light snow will develop after midnight Friday, with the steadiest falling during the morning commute time.

Most areas will see light accumulations of a coating to an inch or so, with slightly higher amounts toward SE Mass and especially the Cape and Islands.

The next system follows quickly on this storm's heels. And this one MAY be a bit stronger...and track a bit closer to our south coast. As a result, travel may be impacted a bit more Saturday afternoon and evening:

There is the possibility that these accumulations totals MAY increase a bit IF we see the trend of a closer approach by the storm continue. Right now it still looks like SE Mass (Cape Cod especially) will see the larger amounts...but there could be enough locally to shovel and even plow. We'll have a better handle on these numbers AFTER we get through the relatively minor system early Friday!

We'll keep you updated...thanks for reading...Mark!
