Winter is winding down and Southern New England is starting to see some milder days. Starting Thursday afternoon, we're in for a rather warm stretch with the 50s holding on through Saturday!
This upcoming stretch of warmth certain isn't the first time we've seen 50 this winter. In fact, the last 50-degree day was just a few weeks ago on February 15th. But, it seems as though the 3-day string is what eludes us in Southern New England.
Twice in December, we recorded back to back 50 days: December 21-22 and December 28-29. And just last month, on February 4th and 5th, we were above 60! But, we have to go back to early November to record three days of 50 or higher.
These warmer days look to be a sign of the times. We're now just one week away from the official start of Spring!
