Wet and Wild Weekend Weather

An active weather pattern is setting up across Southern New England starting this weekend.

Flash Flood Watch is in effect for all of southern New England through 8am SUNDAY.

We are expecting showers with occasional embedded thunderstorms that could contain locally torrential rainfall.

Areas of heavy rain could also stream across one area for an extended amount of time leading to localized flooding. In addition to street flooding, we could also see smaller rivers and streams affected by flooding.

This unsettled weather will stick around into next week with mostly cloudy skies, occasional showers and possible embedded thunderstorms through midweek.
